Sex Tape

Our new EP/cassette tape, appropriately titled, "Sex Tape" will be available January 13th! Unfortunately, we had to push back the release by a few months because some broken bones delayed tracking. However, you'll need to dust off the old boombox for this one. Want to take it on the go and don't have a Walkman? No worries, these tapes include digital download codes for your MP3 pleasure. Fear not, if you live outside of North America and can't make it to a show to pick one up, it will be available digitally on our Bandcamp page (thunderunderus.bandcamp.com). This EP is going to be dirt cheap!

We recently finished filming the video for Jokers Wild and it will be debuting soon!

Hitting the road in March for another tour!

Cold Beer Party

Thunderunderus.com is back up.. finally. Currently we are in the middle of recording for our cassette tape. Bouncing between the Cowabungalo and La Casa de Gordita to get it done. It's due out this fall. Tracks on the tape will include: Cry of the Banshee, Joy Ride, El Bandido, Jokers Wild. There will most likely be some kind of shindig to celebrate this release...

We'll most likely go to a real studio again later this year to start recording for our second full length. If all goes as planned it will be out on vinyl sometime next summer.

Rock N Roll Volcano

Hello and welcome to the new Thunderunder-blog. It has been months since we've had any kind of formal update, so here's whats been going on with your favorite party animals!

First off, we'd like to thank everyone who has come out to see us in the past few months! Our 'Live and Loose' tour back in March was a blast... minus the part where we broke down in southeast Kentucky. With nothing to do and no where to buy booze, we essentially beat our heads against a wall for 24 hours or so. All the while not realizing we were only 1 exit away from the KFC Museum! That's right, we were smack in the middle of Colonel Sanders country! So not only did we miss that, but we also missed our show in Knoxville, TN. Thankfully, we ended up getting out and on our way. The rest of the tour was a great.

We'd like to apologize to our dear Chicago.. In recent months we have sadly neglected you. This summer, we will make it up to you completely and then some!

Our next show will be July 15th here in Chicago at Quenchers Saloon (located on the corner of Fullerton and Western). We'll be hooking up with our good friends from Madison, Lords Of The Trident. For those of you who do not know about this band, they will blow you away! Not only do they make sweet, sweet music, but they also pack their sets with a stage show like you've never seen!

Following that show will be July 23rd in Columbia, MO at Mojo's.

A relatively quiet summer for us but we will be hard at work on our newest release.. A cassette tape featuring 4 or 5 new songs PLUS at least 4 songs from our previous releases. We we only be making 200 copies of this tape and will be selling them for VERY cheap. The tape will include download codes! Fear not if you don't end up getting your hands on it, we will also sell the new tunes online.

Looking a bit further down the road we do plan to begin recording our second full length sometime this fall.
